Rackspace Chooses TRUSTe Assessment Manager

Rackspace is also now the latest global company to choose TRUSTe’s automated assessment technology to bring increased efficiencies to their privacy program management. Assessment Manager is the most recent module added to TRUSTe’s Data Privacy Management (DPM) Platform. The Platform is used by more than 1,000 companies worldwide for ongoing privacy risk management and compliance.

Today, Sept. 30th, TRUSTe announced a joint referral partner relationship with Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company. The partner relationship was announced in Las Vegas at the “Privacy. Security. Risk. 2015” conference.

The partner relationship aims to bring increased access to privacy technology and compliance services to Rackspace’s broad global client base.

TRUSTe Unveils Assessment Manager 2.0

Today we announced a host of new features that will be included in Assessment Manager 2.0, giving privacy teams increased visibility and control over their privacy programs. The new version advances Assessment Manager and adds greater insight and scale to privacy risk management and compliance through features such as a Privacy Program KPI Dashboard, an Advanced Reporting Engine and a new Single User Workflow.

New Automated Assessment Manager Now Available

blankWe’re excited to announce that our automated privacy assessment tool, Assessment Manager, is now generally available for businesses after a successful beta program. This new module, part of our Data Privacy Management Platform, will reduce man-hours needed for privacy assessments and streamline the entire process.

We recently released our Privacy Assessments Benchmarking Study, which found that large enterprises typically conduct 59 Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) each year. These assessments take 285 hours each! The Assessment Manager tool was created to greatly reduce the effort and hours required to conduct each assessment, as well as improve the quality and efficiency of internal privacy programs.

Also announced today, the expansion of our Privacy Content Library as a result of a new partnership with Unified Compliance Framework (UCF) to include more than 800 IT compliance controls based on international regulatory requirements, standards and guidelines.
